Medical Disclaimer & Pharmacy Disclosure
Facilitation of Services
This website is a platform that facilitates access to telehealth services and prescription medications. We are not a pharmacy, a medical provider, or a manufacturer of medications. All medical consultations and treatments are provided by independent, licensed healthcare practitioners.
Medication Sourcing and Fulfillment
We partner with licensed pharmacies to fulfill prescription orders. The specific pharmacy used depends on the type of medication prescribed:
Standard Prescription Medications: All standard Rx medications (including a catalog of over 3,000 options) are dispensed and shipped by InnovaScript, a licensed mail-order pharmacy.
Compounded Medications: All compounded medications, including specialized GLP-1, Peptide, and Erectile Dysfunction (ED) formulations, are fulfilled through Pharmacyhub via the Beluga Health network.
Important Information Regarding Compounded Medications
Non-FDA Approved: Compounded medications are not approved by the FDA. The FDA does not verify the safety, effectiveness, or quality of compounded drugs before they are marketed.
Clinical Necessity: Compounded formulations are prepared by a licensed pharmacy based on a specific provider's prescription to meet a patient's unique medical needs when an FDA- approved drug is unavailable or unsuitable.
Compounded Medications and FDA Disclosures
A. Non-FDA Approval. You acknowledge and understand that the compounded medications offered through our platform are not approved by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA). Unlike mass- produced FDA-approved drugs, compounded medications are not reviewed by the FDA for safety, efficacy, or manufacturing purity prior to sale.
B. No Claims of Equivalence. Generic Meds LLC does not claim that its compounded semaglutide products are the "same as," "identical to," or "generics of" any FDA-approved brand-name drug (such as Ozempic® or Wegovy®). Any reference to brand-name drugs is for informational purposes regarding the class of medication only. Compounded drugs differ from brand-name drugs in their formulation, source of ingredients, and manufacturing process.
C. Active Ingredients. While our compounding pharmacy partners use high-quality ingredients, these ingredients have not been "clinically proven" in the specific compounded format provided to you. The clinical trials performed for FDA-approved versions of semaglutide do not apply to the specific compounded preparation you may receive.
D. Pharmacy Responsibility. All compounded medications are prepared by independent, state- licensed pharmacies in accordance with Section 503A of the Federal Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act. The pharmacy is solely responsible for the compounding, labeling, and quality control of your medication.
Compounded Medications and Peptide Therapies
A. Non-FDA Approval & Safety Risks. You acknowledge that the compounded medications and peptide therapies (e.g., BPC-157, Ipamorelin, PT-141) provided are not approved by the FDA. There are no "gold-standard" human clinical trials for many compounded peptides, and their long-term effects on human health are not fully known.
B. Prohibition of "Research-Only" Sales. Generic Meds LLC strictly prohibits the sale of peptides for "research use only" or "not for human consumption" to individuals for personal use. All peptide therapies must be:
1. Prescribed by a licensed medical professional following a proper telehealth or in-person consultation.
2. Dispensed by a licensed 503A compounding pharmacy.
3. Labeled for individual patient use with specific dosing instructions.
C. No Claims of Clinical Proof. You understand that while specific active ingredients may be studied in laboratory settings, the compounded formulations provided to you have not been "clinically proven" to be safe or effective for any specific condition, including weight loss, muscle growth, or anti-aging.
D. Regulatory Reclassification. The regulatory status of peptides is subject to rapid change by the FDA and HHS. Generic Meds LLC reserves the right to immediately discontinue any product if it is moved to an "impermissible for compounding" list (such as FDA Category 2) to maintain legal compliance.
